THE COURSES
Christchurch Golf Club
As the flagship course in the Canterbury region, Christchurch Golf Club boasts all the traits of a premier venue. The golf course has undergone major renovations over the past decade. What was once a classic Parklands Course is now a classy links-styled layout.
Christchurch illustrates plenty of dramatic traits throughout your 18 holes. Hitting from a plethora of elevated tees, you can cast your eye over this pristine beauty. If you are a player who enjoys getting warmed up, Christchurch’s practice facilities are immaculate, with the massive practice green being a highlight.

Clearwater
Clearwater is a resort styled course which has plenty of character. Six different tee options mean the course is suitable for all players, of any age. The main challenge is in the name; you can’t score low if your ball is at the bottom of a spring-fed lake. Clearwater holds its cards close to its chest, starting slow with some scorable and rolling holes. But when you make the turn, you will be encapsulated by beauty and some simply magnificent golf holes.
Some golfers consider the back nine at Clearwater to be some of the best golf in the country, it is easy to see why this has been a premier tournament venue for almost two decades.
Russley
This classical New Zealand parkland course demands precision. Pack every shot in your arsenal, you’re going to need it. Russley is tight on the front side before giving you some wiggle room on the back. The greens staff do a fantastic job at keeping the course in immaculate condition all year round. Russley sports some of the quickest greens in the region, meaning you can use the slopes to your advantage, or detriment. The back nine was redesigned 10 years ago by Presidents Cup winner Greg Turner.
Russley won the club of the year in 2020, and has all of the facilities to back that up, including a full-length driving range with a grass tee.
