This place speaks for itself. Mountains, rivers, lakes, and people. Queenstown is the tourism capital of New Zealand, and rightly so. There is a special energy attached to Queenstown, almost as if every time you go there something remarkable is going to happen.
With so many people coming to get a taste of some Central Otago beauty, there is never a quiet day around the town. Markets, food stalls, street performers all located on the lakefront every night makes for an intriguing evening stroll to unwind before going low the next day. THE COURSES

Jack's Point

Weaving through the hills, this first-class golfing destination should be on every golfer’s bucket list. Overlooking the stunning Lake Wakatipu, this championship course illustrates breathtaking scenery normally only seen on postcards. Watch your tee shots disappear into the Remarkables Mountain Range in the backdrop of multiple holes as you soak in the surroundings of a truly iconic course.

This place demands the best from every golfer. But even if you aren’t playing your best, there is no better place on the planet to do it than Jacks. Photos from your day out here will be in your camera roll for years to come, regardless of your score.

Millbrook

The current host venue of the New Zealand Open boasts two championship courses.
These courses represent the best aspects of resort golf. The picturesque surroundings of multiple mountain ranges and exceptionally manicured fairways flanked by sweeping bunkers and classic Central Otago tussock.

The Remarkables course is a flatter, walking friendly course with many different challenges. The Coronet course is a new addition to Millbrook and it is an absolute treasure. This bio may or may not be the first you have heard of Millbrook, but once you have the privilege of strolling the fairways, it will be an experience impossible to forget.

Arrowtown

Arrowtown is a quirky layout painted by the bare nature of the Central Otago landscape.
Tight fairways littered with exposed schist rock, the tussock rough and sloping greens combine for an examination of your game. Consistently ranked in the top-10 courses in Aotearoa, you will find a challenge and the occasional ruins of historic stone cottages. Recently finishing upgrades on their irrigation system, the course will be as pure as it ever has, while still paying homage to the rugged deep south. This is a must play if you are in the area, and one for the golf purist.
