THE COURSES
Royal Wellington
One of New Zealand's premier private member parkland courses boasts an immaculate 27-hole parkland complex. Members and staff are always welcoming and love nothing more than displaying their stunning layout to their visitors.
Playing here gives you plenty to think about from tee to green, from tight fairways to tricky sand-traps. Royal Wellington is a memorable day out and portrays plenty of natural beauty. However, make sure you pack more than one shot shape and a hot putter; there's a reason this is one of only two courses coined with the 'Royal' tag in New Zealand.

Paraparaumu Beach
The glorious Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club is held in high esteem across the globe. Widely regarded as the spiritual home of New Zealand Golf, it seems a fitting accolade for this architectural masterpiece perched on the Kāpiti Coast.
Tiger Woods visited the wind-swept golf course in 2002 and coined Paraparaumu's collection of par-3s as some of the best in the world.Paraparaumu Beach is a regular inside the World Top-100 Golf Course lists and is largely considered one of the best links courses in the Southern Hemisphere.
The challenging loop threads through magnificent, rugged linksland, a 45-minute drive north of Wellington. A must-play for the golf tragic, once you've experienced its brilliance, you'll understand just why golf played at Paraparaumu Beach Golf Course is golf at its purest.
Boulcott's Farm
Located in the Hutt Valley, Boulcott's Farm Heritage Golf Club is another classic Kiwi parkland course with the primary objective being to enjoy your day out on the course, not constantly be worn down by the set-up.
This being said, the tree-lined fairways, complemented by some challenging spots of rough in crucial landing zones, require plotting your way to the green. The putting surfaces are always immaculate, and a shared green between the par-3 3rd and the par-5 15th is a tip of the cap to some of the most famous putting surfaces on the planet.
